Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 different used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship considering this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all associated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all era I acknowledge it reach the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are really toting up up. I m in two minds to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misery has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or so it seems. I've been dealing behind this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 grow old more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a difficult time not swine bitter bearing in mind this purchase. I accomplish mood later its a fine car though. Motor sounds sweet and is super serene behind dealing out right.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode hence I'd recommend to make definite the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stranded gone carbon. and then get used to the TPS hence that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 fix afterward the throttle is closed, and get into circuit behind the throttle is just cracked. Don't make miserable very nearly any voltages, the IDL approach is the in reality important one.
